When preform is subjected for heating in Oven, the neck portion should not be exposed to IR Lamp. To achieve this, the individual Preform neck guarded with Aluminum Jacket, through which chilled water Fire area around 360 of each and every moving and rotating preform while heating in oven.

Short to medium wave length IR radiation is required for heating PET material. Due to higher heating density of IR lamp, outer surface of preform has 10 to 15 degree more temperature than inside surface because PET material has poor conductivity. This is the limitation of IR heatino system.
